;-)- this a cool example of how Firefox is supposed to work! Way to go James and Matt!

Long time reader and recent contributor James Day has created a Mozilla Search Plugin which lets you search the MotoringFile website from a search box on the Mozilla Firefox Toolbar. It works great, just like the search box on the site. All you have to do is (A) use Firefox and (B) click on the link below. That simple.
A healthy round of applause to Matt for editing it down to a simple one-click install.

Applause! Applause!
Ok… for some reason it doesn’t work for me.
Ditto… the javascript isn’t working for me either.
Runs fine for me on xp now. Did you know that searching for “jcw” gets 172 matches?
Fantastic!
[...] Great news for Firefox users and MotoringFile (the popular MINI weblog) readers! A Mozilla Search Plugin, which lets you search the MotoringFile website from a search box on the Mozilla Firefox Toolbar, has recently been created by MotoringFile reader/contributor James Day. It works like a charm and is just as accurate as the site’s own search box. Simply download the plugin from the MotoringFile web site. Requirements: All you need is the latest version of the Firefox browser! If you don’t use Firefox (shame on you!), just click on the banner below to get your copy. [...]
I use it all the time and my favorite search is JCW. 8^)
Thanks Matt for writing the javascript installation, I created the plugin before Firefox 1.5 came out.
What I want to do on my blog, is every few hours take the oldest post and move it to the
front of the queue, all automatically. Anyone know if there is a plugin that can do this or
a simple way to set up another plugin to do this (use my own feed perhaps)?
Thanks.
[...] readers sure are handy. James Day created the ever popular MF Search Firefox Plug-in and now, George Worrell has created the Motoringfile Dashboard [...]
It isn’t working right now!
HTML Formatting Tips
MotoringFile also allows use of Markdown formatting in the comment section. This accomplishes the same formatting as HTML but is typically easy to use.
