White Roof Radio #159

miniNews of the week from Motoringfile.com with db and Gabe. Todd was busy with house stuff this week, so we let him have the night off.

For those of you that missed it, we did broadcast the show live via ustream.tv with both audio and video! It was actually so cool that we will be doing that again this week. Check back on Thursday between 9:00 EST / 6:00PM PST and 11:00 EST / 8:00PM PST. The video is quite good and so is the audio. In fact, if you only wanted to listen live this is the best option I have come across yet. We’ll be able to answer your questions live as well. See you Thursday!

Before anyone else mentions it, yes the audio levels aren’t quite right - DB is pretty quiet. Next week it’ll be back to perfect, we promise.

lavardera May 28th, 2007 Link

I could not tell if DB was quiet, or if Gabe was loud and distorted. It must have been little garbled cause it sounded like Gabe said this was live and once it went out over the air it was gone forever…no matter. Hey we’ll all see you at your secret garage day next weekend.

Now what is this rumor about Todd getting a McMansion? Can’t be. How could you at once have the coolest most unique Mini ever made, and at the same time live in the dorkiest status quo cop-out that was ever a plague on our nation…!

Gabe May 28th, 2007 Link

Yeah I was wondering that myself - but based on my volume levels on my Nano - I’m thinking DB was too quiet.

And yeah, about that secret garage night this Saturday… you’re going to need the super secret hand-shake to get in.

Now what is this rumor about Todd getting a McMansion?

Relax. We’re doing our best to avoid the cookie cutter jungle.

lavardera May 28th, 2007 Link

whew!

HEY! I want to argue and clear up the octane confusion here, it’s not really that bad for the engine once it’s broken in, I put in 87 in my R56 Cooper S before my trip to Chicago from St.Louis and the way back we drove thru the whole city on 87, yea there’s a slight difference on the punchiness of the car but we just need to get from point A to point B.
P.S. didn’t see you there Gabe, let me know if u spotted a Mellow Yellow R56 with blk sripes
