Still have no zero interest or happiness with a Mini SUV, still say that this market is already flooded with other options. I have no idea who at BMW came up with taking the brand in this direction when there are literally a huge number of voices that have been calling for a true performance coupe for a very long time.

I completely disagree with Dr. Stregler on this one. I am a self confessed Mini SUV hater. We are seeing a continual step towards ever larger vehicles from Mini, a very bad trend in my world. As for the “safety” of the SUV’s like the X5 all you have to do is work for a short while prying innocent people in normal sized cars that these foul vehicles has hit.

Not trying to be a downer just really in agony over the talk of a SUV, micro or not its moving in the wrong direction.

Oh god how can you guys like Michael Bay? I am disappointed lads. The movie sucked it, he ruined my childhood memories… Oh no i am a Bay hater. Yes he directed Pearl Harbor….the horror the horrow

I’m not a fan of Michael Bay… but I thought the film was terrible in a good way. I still vastly prefer the original film however.

If my sources serve me correctly isn’t Bumblebee supposed to be one of the smallest and the most emotional of the Autobots. With that said, wouldn’t it be super-cool if they used a Mellow-Yellow R56 with the black stripes of course, as Bumble-Bee, c’mon, it just makes sense…..oooyyeahh, I can just see it now.

By the way, Michael Bay has done some Playboy shoots.
So yeah he definitely has an eye for using attractive (model-like) women in his movies. Though he doesn’t really care for their acting abilities whatsoever. I mean, Megan Fox…she sucked in Two and a Half Men.

Whatever the Colorado ends up being, the MINI community’s backlash against the possibility of an SUV is the result of the anti-SUV image that early advertising fostered. There is a significant segment of the consumer base who purchased a MINI in agreement with the “less is more” doctrine presented, and are now faced with the blasphemy that BMW is going against all that was taught.

If the car ends up being an AWD beefy Clubman called the Moke, MINI owners will rejoin hands to sing around the campfire once more. ;)
